The Temporary Library · Share it

This project explored how library users could share personal experiences, not just borrow material.

The concept, Share it, invited people to leave small glimpses of their own lives in the library. These shared fragments could then be discovered by others, creating a more personal and participatory library experience.

Focus: Experience sharing, participation and library interaction

Disciplines: Interaction design · Social design

Approach: Design thinking · Observational mapping · Cultural probes · Storyboarding

Output: Share it service concept

The process moved through observational mapping, cultural probes, storyboarding and concept development. The probe kit was used to invite participants to share small pieces of their everyday experiences.
