Interaction design · Product care · Service concept

More than an Object

This project explored the relationship people build with everyday objects, and how better guidance can help them take care of products they value.

The concept focused on one practical problem: thermal shock in Le Creuset cookware, which can cause cracked enamel when the product is handled incorrectly. I developed a concept that helps owners understand proper care and use through a more accessible product experience.

Focus: Product care, everyday use and user guidance

Disciplines: Interaction design

Approach: Design thinking · Storyboarding · Concept development · Prototyping

Output: Product care concept and how-to experience

The process moved through problem framing, misuse analysis, storyboarding and concept development.
